Binance ends Binance Pool and all mining services at 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10

Binance will shut Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator and all mining-pool APIs on Nov. 10 at 07:00 UTC. Pool pages stay viewable until Nov. 24.

Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and every related mining product at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, according to the exchange's official closure notice. Miners must repoint hashrate to another pool before the cutoff; stale shares submitted after it will not be credited. The announcement was first picked up in English by Crypto Briefing.

What ends on November 10

Binance's notice names six closures that all fall on the same timestamp:

  • Binance Pool — the mining pool itself (BTC and LTC proof-of-work).
  • Pool Savings — the yield product on pool-side balances.
  • Cloud Mining — purchased-hashrate contracts.
  • Transaction Accelerator — the fee-boost service.
  • Mining-pool API services — any Stratum / REST or email-/Telegram-based alerting.
  • Homepage links — the Pool nav entries are removed on the same day.

Stratum URLs and mining endpoints are disabled at 07:00 UTC. Shares submitted after that time will not be credited.

Timeline

Date (UTC)Event
Nov 10, 07:00Pool services end. Miners disconnected. API endpoints offline. Homepage links removed.
Nov 10, 23:59Deadline to finish any required KYC/identity verification so remaining payouts can be processed.
Nov 10 → Nov 24Pool pages stay viewable for 14 days for historical data, account records, and payout status.
Nov 24, 07:00Binance Pool pages become permanently inaccessible.

Outstanding rewards and balances continue to be processed after the cutoff "under existing guidelines," per the notice — subject to account status, product rules and compliance checks. Binance has not published a dedicated migration partner.

Who this hits

Binance Pool held a non-trivial but single-digit share of global Bitcoin hashrate through 2023–2025 and had a larger slice of Litecoin's merged-mining pool market. The miners who have to react:

  • Hosted-hashrate buyers on Cloud Mining contracts need to confirm refund treatment before Nov. 10; the notice says "eligible" refunds will be processed but names no automatic flow.
  • Pool Savings depositors should redeem or unsubscribe before the service ends — the notice is explicit on this.
  • API-integrated farms have a hard cut: Stratum endpoints go offline at the same instant, no grace period.
  • Transaction Accelerator users (merchants and retail paying for CPFP-style boosts) lose a known fallback for stuck Bitcoin transactions.

Binance has not named a replacement pool. The big public alternatives for BTC remain Foundry USA, AntPool, ViaBTC and F2Pool; for LTC merged mining, Litecoinpool.

Why Binance is pulling

The notice does not state a reason. Pool businesses are low-margin at scale and sit awkwardly inside a regulated-exchange shell: miners pay in hashrate, settlements are frequent and small, and the KYC and travel-rule obligations on payouts are the same as any exchange withdrawal. The deadline on KYC completion ("23:59 UTC on Nov 10") hints at the operational pain of running a KYC gate on micro-payouts for a long tail of international mining customers.

Binance Pool launched in 2020, during the exchange's buildout of adjacent crypto services (Earn, Launchpad, NFT). Several of those adjacent lines have been pulled or restructured over the past 18 months.

What to watch

  1. Payout processing after Nov 10. The notice says eligible rewards are honored "subject to compliance checks." A tail of complaints is the near-term signal; Binance has typically processed exchange-side legacy balances cleanly, but Pool accounts are a different KYC perimeter.
  2. Hashrate migration pattern. Public pool-share dashboards (mempool.space, mining pool stats) will show where Binance Pool's share redistributes. Foundry's share of BTC hashrate is the obvious bucket to watch.
  3. Impact on LTC merged mining. Binance Pool was a non-trivial LTC-DOGE merged-mining node; a visible reshuffle to Litecoinpool is the expected move.
  4. Follow-on service cuts. The pattern of exchanges exiting peripheral products — pools, launchpads, cloud mining — is now firm. The next shoe to drop at Binance is most likely one of the smaller Earn products.

Context

Binance Pool joins a crowded 2024–2026 exit list for exchange-run mining pools. OKX Pool shut down in 2023; Huobi Pool reorganised in 2024 under HTX. The remaining large exchange-run pool business of consequence is BitFuFu, which is a standalone listed entity rather than an exchange appendage. The direction of travel is now clear: proof-of-work pool operations are consolidating in dedicated miner-services firms, not inside exchanges.
